Kim Sawyer is one talented author. If you have not read one of her books you should. Her series "The Zimmerman Restoration" has a wonderful ending. You can check out my reviews to "When Mercy Rains" and "When Grace Sings".

Well, "When Love Returns" starts out a little tension with Suzanne and Alexa. They are celebrating Christmas with all the family. Alexa wants to find her birth mother. When Alexa tells her mom Suzanne. Suzanne is a little unsure and startled by her daughter. Suzanne learns that she will be with Anna Grace for two months. It starts with the unsealing all reasons and the secret that only started it all.

Throughout the book, Suzanne Turns to Paul to talk about Anna Grace and Alexa. What will happen with Suzanne and Paul? I believe it will come full circle. Paul starts wanting to talk to Suzanne and talk about his son Danny. Will the members of the fellowship allow Suzanne back in? To find out all these answers and Alexa answers to her questions, you will need to read "When Love Returns'?

When Love Returns by Kim Vogel Sawyer is the third book in the Zimmerman Restoration Trilogy. Cynthia Allgood had a baby when she was a teenager. The day after she gave birth she left the baby behind the Indianapolis Home for Unwed Mothers. Twenty years later her husband is giving her the opportunity to find her daughter. He has put down a retainer on Owen Mallory, a private investigator. Will finding her daughter be a good thing for Cynthia?Alexa Zimmerman is enjoying life in Arborville, Kansas with her mother (Suzanne), grandmother, and her other relations (she did not about her extended family until recently). But Alexa would like to know about her biological parents. Alexa decides to take a break during the slow season for the Grace Notes Bed and Breakfast (she started it on her grandmother’s farm). Alexa goes back to Indiana with Tom and Linda Denning (friends of Suzanne and Alexa’s who came to visit for Christmas). Will Alexa be able to find the answers she is seeking?Suzanne is staying in Arborville. She has decided not to go back to Indiana to her old life. She is happy to be back with her family. It is hard, though, being near the daughter she gave away especially with Anna Grace’s wedding approaching. Suzanne was forced (by her mother) to give up Anna Grace twenty years ago. Will Anna Grace ever want to know the truth about her birth parents? Suzanne spending more time with Paul Aldrich (her teenage love and the father of Anna Grace). Can they have a relationship? Suzanne will have to join the Old Order Mennonite faith in order to be with Paul. Is she willing to join the faith and is this what God wants for her? Will there be a happily ever after for Suzanne and Paul? When Love Returns is not a stand-alone novel. You need to read the first two books in The Zimmerman Restoration trilogy or you will not understand everything going on in the book. When Love Returns is well written and you will not want to put it down (I just loved it). I believe this was my favorite book out of all three of them. One thing I did not understand, though, is why Alexa was told that Suzanne was not her real mother (this is not a spoiler). Suzanne had a birth certificate for her daughter that lists her as mother. Why did Suzanne tell Alexa that she was not her daughter? I thought this was confusing. Another odd note is the information the private investigator obtains at the Indianapolis Home for Unwed Mothers. I do not believe he would be able to get this type of information (name of a former resident) by just talking with the director. Overall, When Love Returns is a page turner. It is a fitting end to the trilogy. I love how the author wrapped up all the story lines. I give When Love Returns 5 out of 5 stars. I received a complimentary copy of When Love Returns from Blogging for Books (and the publisher) in exchange for an honest review.

Title: When Love Returns (The Zimmerman Restoration Series #3)Author: Kim Vogel SawyerPages: 352Year: 2015Publisher: WaterBrook PressMy rating is 5 stars.Readers are introduced to a new set of characters and a heart-thumping plot in the Zimmerman Restoration series that begins with When Mercy Rains, followed by When Grace Sings. The conclusion to the multitude of themes in this trilogy is in the final book, When Love Returns, which has a very powerful message. For me, it took awhile to remember where the story left off as well as where the situations with characters were when book two ended in When Grace Sings.I believe the overall theme the author took pains to bring out in the books wasn’t just restoration, but repentance as well as redemption. These themes are reflected to us in a plethora of ways through the lives of the various Zimmerman family members and a few close friends. There are also the issues of unwed mothers, adoption, forgiveness, meeting the birth mothers and watching God turn a bad situation 180 degrees around for His glory. I believe the author did an excellent job showing that it does take time to work through heart issues as well as showing how many people can be impacted by the sin of another person.Kim Vogel Sawyer has penned many good stories though I haven’t read all of them that she has published to date, but I do hope to read more of her stories in the days ahead. One of my favorite parts of the story is watching one of the male lead characters named Paul take responsibility for his part in sinning with Suzanne. Paul could have let her face church discipline and confession before the Body alone, but he stood beside Suzy and openly confessed too.Another part of the story I liked was how husbands and wives prayed together and parents teaching their kids by praying with them at night before bed. The novels show us how much we can impact our families by praying together and instructing them, letting the community time of worship on Sundays be the support system instead of the other way around. I am going to miss the Zimmerman characters; yet, I look forward to what Kim Vogel Sawyer is writing for us to enjoy next!Enjoy the reading the Zimmerman restoration series!Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Great ending to a great trilogy. I had a hard time putting this book down. Remember that these need to be read in order or you won't know what is really happening and who the characters are. The moms and daughters are well written. You want everything to be a happy ending. Some people may not like the subject matter which is about unwed mothers and adoption. The whole trilogy is well written and hard to put down.. I received this book from blogging for books for a fair and honest opinion.
