Absolutely one of the best books I've read in a very long time. Quite unexpected point of view. Story follows a young woman who from the age of seven, is abused by her family, her lovers and her mind. The story is told from her home's point of view and how the house's spirit follows her and tries to shelter her where ever she goes. The young woman is constantly trying to find love and self worth, but falls short so many times. But through it all, she stands firm in her conviction that God is there with her and will see his will done. I started and finished the novel in just a few short hours. I loved the story. I cried, I believed and I cheered.
