About this audiobook

Wilhelm Busch (1832 – 1908), creator of the famous "Max & Moritz“, was not only a famous author of extremely popular comic strips for children but also a productive poet. The collection of poems “Kritik des Herzens” (A Critique from the Heart) was released in 1874 and demonstrates that Busch did not necessarily hold a lot of trust in mankind. The novel “Eduards Traum” (Eduard’s Dream) takes the same line of cynical humor. The protagonist is shrunk to a conscious dot and embarks on an inspection trip around the globe. This ‘little twaddle on paper’ as Busch called it himself, allows the author to dissect the whole spectrum of human flaws and comment on them ironically. The result is a humorous and surprisingly thought provoking fantasy tale.

Wilhelm Busch (1832–1908) was a German humorist, poet, illustrator and painter.
