About this audiobook

When I wake up on the ice planet, I'm scared of everything: this place is cold, silent, and the locals look more like blue devils than aliens. To make matters worse, one of the strangers decides I'm going to be his girlfriend and kidnaps me away from my sister. I'm completely and utterly alone. What's a girl to do?

Well, this girl escapes.

Of course, that means I go from frying pan into the fire, and my situation gets even more dangerous. Just when I have no hope left, a new hero appears. Sure, he's blue, horned, and has a tail. He's also fierce, protective, makes me purr . . . and thinks I'm perfect.

But is what we have real or just a mating instinct?

Contains mature themes.

I really almost skipped this book because the sisterly plot in this made me want to rage yell. It doesn’t last long and the plot gets back to building and always a twist thrown in there! So glad I didn’t skip it! Very important part of the story line!

The audio skips a few seconds every now and then. You can still get the story but it’s rather annoying

Imagine...a society where everyone feeds one another, is eager to learn how you communicate, and each individual has a vested interest in the happiness of each tribe member. Sound great? Same. Get me outta here...I want Not-Hoth.

I love ❤ this book! I love the fact that we have a chase scene, that we have the hero swooping in to save the girl, that epic moment when he says his last words to her!! Just love this one!

    Awwww a deaf character

This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I love that it is so inclusive. There's been a black girl, natural red head and now a hearing accessible girl. And I'm loving it!

This was a great story. I enjoyed the slow burn and the couple actually falling in love. And there were some interesting twists thrown in this story.

Huh. I am surprised at the negative reviews, and surprised that I am not, apparently, reading this series for the smut. Or maybe not _only_ the smut. I liked Rokan and Lila. I really liked Lila's deaf-experience storyline. And as much as it is totally hokey and unbelievable, I love the revelations that the ice planet offers -- mysterious cave of fruit? Metlaks with rudimentary communication? What will happen next???? Yep, I'm interested to find out. Not at all sure about the next couple, though.
