    As a newcomer to the alien tribe, I've struggled to find my place. It might be because I'm a tad headstrong at times. And yes, I might have thrown a few things at people's heads. But I had a good reason to pitch a fit-my shy sister was stolen away right under my nose. Of course, now she's back and mated. Everyone's happy . . . except me.

      At the beginning Maddy was really annoying, selfish and opinionated and it was enough for me to stop listening. I like how the story was being told, toward the end her character mellowed a lot. I think feeling alone and not the center of her sister's was cause. Thank goodness she got laid a lot and found someone who was just like her (Hassan).

      OMG, I literally teared up during this one! At first I didn't like Maddy - I don't really like bossy, pushy people - but I loved the story line! I cannot wait to read the next one...

      By far my favorite so far (though I haven’t listened to the novellas).

      Maddie and Georgie are the only two women who’ve haven’t completely ignored resonance. I’m a little sick of all the women pushing it off, saying they aren’t “choosing” and have no free will. It’s old. So it’s nice to see Maddie just be a normal woman. I would’ve liked to hear more about her not wanting to be a mother, but it’s a baby making trope... so I guess I can’t expect too much.

      Im far into the series now. They’re finally exploring the island more. There’s no one left to resonate. I’m curious to see where this book series goes!

      Excellent storyline, i didnt expect the twist at the beginning. The only criticism i have of this Barbarian series is that the males all seem copycat of oneanother when it comes to sex. They lick (never suck or tug or graze their teeth on the skin etc) I feel like the descriptions could be so different feom oneanother, every man/woman has different things he likes. I just feel like if youre gonna be graphic about it, then be creative too. But the stories are enjoyable

      Yes for the book with the Big Girl!

      Cause big girls need love too! Think I related to this one the most because I am sooooooooo out of shape, I HATE the cold and I can't imagine life without toilets! ??? Maddie is basically me . . . except I'm older and black ??‍♀️

      One of the worst in the series so far. The main female is obnoxious. She's rude to everyone. She can't be happy that her sister is happy and her only character motivation is being bored. She's awful!

      And he's desperate. Happy to be taken advantage of. not mentally or emotionally mature. Ick

      Im glad they put the two worst characters together. They deserve each other.

      I think this one may have broken my interest in continuing to read these books, but the major discovery at the end has me curious.
