About this audiobook

Legendary leadership and elite performance expert Robin Sharma introduced The 5am Club concept over twenty years ago, based on a revolutionary morning routine that has helped his clients maximize their productivity, activate their best health and bulletproof their serenity in this age of overwhelming complexity.

Now, in this life-changing guide, handcrafted by the author over a rigorous four-year period, you will discover the early-rising habit that has helped so many accomplish epic results while upgrading their happiness, helpfulness and feelings of aliveness.

Through an enchanting—and often amusing—story about two struggling strangers who meet an eccentric tycoon who becomes their secret mentor, The 5am Club will walk you through:

  • How great geniuses, business titans and the world’s wisest people start their mornings to produce astonishing achievements
  • A little-known formula you can use instantly to wake up early feeling inspired, focused and flooded with a fiery drive to get the most out of each day
  • A step-by-step method to protect the quietest hours of daybreak so you have time for exercise, self-renewal and personal growth
  • A neuroscience-based practice proven to help make it easy to rise while most people are sleeping, giving you precious time for yourself to think, express your creativity and begin the day peacefully instead of being rushed
  • “Insider-only” tactics to defend your gifts, talents and dreams against digital distraction and trivial diversions so you enjoy fortune, influence and a magnificent impact on the world

Part manifesto for mastery, part playbook for genius-grade productivity and part companion for a life lived beautifully, The 5am Club is a work that will transform your life. Forever.

I was tempted more than once to stop! I think the tangible practices would be useful and that was what prompted me to listen to it but... the fiction part was completely unnecessary and sooooo boring. I agree with other reviews that this could have been a 2 hr book without all the fluff. It was brutal getting thru the 11+hrs.

I didn't find anything useful in this book, there is just saying the benefits and result but never give you practical insight, it is just a cheesy love story, over fantastic and exaggerating, I don't recommend at all you waste your time with this book...

Great stuff. But packed with so much fluff. It could have been a 3 hour audiobook.

Long winded and incredibly dramatic. I had hoped for something more to the point and less.... weird.

I stoped at chapter 4, it’s like a story for kids, did not take anything from it, could not bare one more chapter, so far no steps or information that’s useful in any way.

Waste of time, the essence of this book could be summarized in 20minutes, yet somehow the audiobook takes 10 hours

Your typical self improvement book narrated as a children's book. Not recommended.

A book that could have been a blog post ...

I wasn’t a fan of this book at all. I made it through a little over an hour before I removed it from my playlist. I mostly listen to self-improvement books, but this one fell short to me.

At the beginning I was completely annoyed by the story and the stereotopic character's.
Though the ideas presented at the second half in the book are interesting.
The real information could be presented in an hour. So this book is not for those of you who are looking for extreme dense information.

So the book provides a good guide to make your morning more profitable and start your day right. Great!

This book is written as a story (which could maybe suit a younger or inexperienced audience) and makes going trough it an unnecessary journey in what a lot of times seems like a quotes book or a blog post gone too long

Overall good book with good teachings. Extremely long and drawn out story to get to the actual teachings ... but it was a good change of pace from most other self development books. Skip to the last few chapters for the meat of the learning.

The message could be transmitted in a shorter version and the voices' interpretation is not the best.

I feel like there is a lot of useful information but it's just so lengthy and a lot to sort through to get there. I couldn't finish it. I just wanted to get to the point.

Not worth the hype at all.

Completely unreal love story to begin with (a milioner is going to pick you up for a crowd and tour you around a world so you can fall in love with a stranger next to you) an all under 66 day that takes you to create a habit of walking up... Characters so unreal they don't even get a name.

Rest of the book is generic advise such as sleep is good, technology is bad.

The little practical advice is there,is in on the chapter 15.

Not worth the time or paper. You can skip this one.

Great book! I really enjoyed the premise of this book, and I think it could help anybody to improve their life. Own your morning; elevate your life is an excellent principle!

Personally, I don’t prefer it written in a narrative. I much prefer it to be written as a regular self-help book. At times the story was cheesy.

Overall, an excellent read, and suggest a lot of people read it and not be intimidated by the time 5 AM.

I stop at chaper 8. I don’t see the motivation or the principle to wake up early

Some solid principles, though the concept of 5am as the only and the absolutely best time for the start of a day might be a bit stretch. While the narrative can helpful for remembering some key ideas, it felt a bit over the top.

There’s some good ideas but just dragging on and on for too long. This book could’ve been a 2 hour.
Spending 10 hours to finish it is just too much to ask.

Couldn’t even get past the first chapter. It’s cheesy, condescending, and worst of all very subjective.

Maybe I should have given it a bit more time, but after going through reviews on YouTube and finding out there’s also a romance story in it, I just had to quit it.

Didn’t mentally stimulate me, felt more like emotional manipulation.

Lovely fable as usual and so many great points to pick from it. As usual, points are made very clear and presented in a very practical fashion. I have gone through the audio book and it was so good that I boutique the printed copy so I can study it in more detail.

Unnecessarily long and dramatized. Could’ve easily been written as an article, but that wouldn’t have made the author profits. Here’s the whole point: wake up at 5am, exercise, meditate, and then do something else productive. Also, take time daily to focus on what’s most important in life aside from career and business prospects, like your health, happiness, and relationships. The End. Yup, that’s it.
