About this audiobook

Elizabeth is certain she's not meant to rule the Southeastern White Tooth Pack. Since birth, she's been told she was the wolf pack's fated leader. She is, after all, the first-born of the pack Alpha. But how can she lead them if she's never shifted? She doubts herself, but her fate is tied to the moon, and Elizabeth is honor-bound to fulfill her destiny.

But evil forces lurk in the shadows.

Not every wolf shifter in the pack wants Elizabeth to take power. When the Wolf Council sanctions Elizabeth as the official Fated Alpha, enemies attack her family, killing her parents. When they discover that Elizabeth survived, she must flee for her life. With nowhere to go, help comes in the form of four sexy and powerful Dragon shifters.

The fierce warriors offer her their protection in their secluded mountain home. As Elizabeth mends, it's clear the four Dragon shifters crave more from her. All four men desire her. Each wants to claim her body and heart and soul.

As her enemies close in, can the men keep Elizabeth safe by their side and help her reclaim her place as leader of her pack?

This is my first audiobook of Ava's I listened to and it definitely won't be the last ( am already on book 3 of this series haha). I remember reading part of this story a long time ago but I am glad I got this subscription so I could devour them all haha. Let me first mention about the narration. I thought Angela did a superb job on the various emotions and inflections, especially with Elizabeth and her family in the beginning. With all the horribleness in the beginning, my heartstrings were definitely be pulled in all different directions! I thought the narration really brought this story to life. I think where improvement could be made was the different accents/changes Angela could have done more with the guys. I don't know where they all grew up (if it was all in the city that is mentioned later on in the book), but I had a tough time distinguishing between everyone. I would give narration 4/5 stars. Will definitely be adding Angela to my good narrators list ?

In terms of the story, I thought book 1 laid the backstory well without being too boring. I thought somethings were brushed over too quickly/didnt have enough details or explanation. I really like Elizabeth as a character. She is fierce but also vulnerable. I liked how things were starting to develop between her and some of the guys. I jumped around with who was my favorite, but I will hold judgement until I listen to more of the audiobooks haha. I definitely think this series has a lot of potential, despite it being a rocky in a couple places so far. I honestly had to keep reminding myself these characters were in college, not high school, and I am nervous what will happen with Aaron, to be honest. I think the overall premise is intriguing, especially for those who love PNR RH series. Not sure where its all going to go, but I liked book 1 enough to start right up with book 2, so that must tell you something.

    4-4.5 stars from me!
