About this ebook
Co-created by 470 "Business Model Canvas" practitioners from 45 countries, the book features a beautiful, highly visual, 4-color design that takes powerful strategic ideas and tools, and makes them easy to implement in your organization. It explains the most common Business Model patterns, based on concepts from leading business thinkers, and helps you reinterpret them for your own context. You will learn how to systematically understand, design, and implement a game-changing business model--or analyze and renovate an old one. Along the way, you'll understand at a much deeper level your customers, distribution channels, partners, revenue streams, costs, and your core value proposition.
Business Model Generation features practical innovation techniques used today by leading consultants and companies worldwide, including 3M, Ericsson, Capgemini, Deloitte, and others. Designed for doers, it is for those ready to abandon outmoded thinking and embrace new models of value creation: for executives, consultants, entrepreneurs, and leaders of all organizations. If you're ready to change the rules, you belong to "the business model generation!"

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really liked the book. It provides a new framework for Business environment.
I have to point out that the electronic version is really far from the printed one. The colorful drawings and pictures on the printed version add a fantastic environment to each one of the concepts.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have found that this title covers almost all the little things that I have been incorporating into my own models over the past 10 years - and in a diagram that is so well thought out that it incorporates most of the analysis in one way or another - this is a keeper and I keep referring to it to gain more insight.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book is full of interesting ideas, mostly coming from creative design, on how to work on a business model, or revise it. Its greatest call to fame: it doesn't look like a business book at all, full of doodles, charts, exercices, concise real-life examples. It only gets 3 stars from me, though, because I really didn't like the badly lit, blurry, camera-phone-like photographs shown in this book. Maybe it's done on purpose to convey "spontaneity", but it contrasts very badly with the otherwise rather aesthetic contents. And, well, despite looking less boring than conventional business books, it is still a book on business models, and business models is still a subject I personally find rather boring...
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is not your usual business book as it is very well designed and crafted. Great content with excellent structure, layout, and well balanced depth of presentation. This book has triggered not only ideas, but ways to think about many business needs and structures for clients.
