    Dr. Israel Regardie has been hailed as one of the most important figures of twentieth-century healing and mysticism. He was born in London in 1907, and first traveled to the United States in 1920. He wrote seventeen books between 1932 and 1972; his most voluminous work, The Golden Dawn, is a monumental study of Western magical ritual. The Art of True Healing is considered to be his most brilliant and concise work on the powerful effects of focused meditation. He was a therapist and chiropractor as well as a writer, practicing a form of psychotherapy based on the work of Dr. Wilhelm Reich.

      The finest introduction to Rosicrucian mystical techniques. The methods are based mostly on the Golden Dawn's methods, but are simplified to the core of personal mystical development. If a person wishes to develop themselves spiritually within the Rosicrucian tradition, but does not want to devote themselves to magic and occultism, this is the method for them. This is also a great method for anybody wishing to gain proficiency in magic and mysticism prior to beginning a program of work with the Golden Dawn material.
