      Another lovely swoony, sexy, heart-melting read from Ms. Armentrout aka J. Lynn. Really needed to read this like a million years ago. I’ve always known that Cam was a sweetie, and reading is POV showed me how much that statement is true. It was very pleasant to be in his head, I didn’t have to deal with a hard to get jerk, he let Avery knew he wanted her, and was patient, gentle and understanding. From the beginning Cam was very careful with Avery, not knowing exactly what she was dealing with, he did suspect that she had most likely had suffered a bad experience.

      Cam’s determination to not accept Avery’s constant no’s to go on a date with him was so cute and funny. They’re interactions were just adorable, and very swoon worthy. Although it was kinda sad to see how much Cam’s reluctance to be more open with him hurt, even though I did understand her fear of what might happen if she did open up.

      From Cam’s story I could see even more how much Avery needed to literally run into him and for him to be in her life. Yes she needed her own strength to heal herself, but Cam made her see how stuck she was and that she needed to, I’m gonna get cheesy here, take back her life.

      The first book was a compelling undertaking for Ms. Armentrout and the second is just as compelling, seeing from a guy’s point of view how he deals with and reacts to his significant other telling him that she was violently violated. Cam was observant and had already suspected that something like that had happened to Avery. Other than his delicious baking and breakfast making, how Cam supported Avery in facing what happened to her and the people that let her down, was what truly made him the sweetheart he his. Loved Cam’s POV and I very much need to get caught up with this series.

      My favorite thing about reading a contemporary romance from a guy's POV is being able to read the swoony situations in his head.       Cam is totally swoon worthy and it was great getting a good look inside his head. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the repetitiveness of the story and lack of new material from Wait For You!

      I still had Cam & Avery on the brain, so I decided to give this book a chance. It was the events from the 1st book, Wait For You, but told from Cam's POV, as opposed to Avery's. After being put off by the numerous errors in the 1st book, I was pleasantly surprised to find this book so well-written and edited. It was worth reading, and did add more to the story. It also set up the next book, which revolves around Cam's sister Theresa and his friend Jase.

      I had started reading Be with Me and didn't remember Cam's story or the backstory of Teresa very well, so I decided to pick this one up. I had bought it a while back, and I love all things JLA. It was neat to get back into this relationship and get Cam's side of things. I often wondered his motivations and it sometimes surprised me and other times it didn't. I didn't feel repetitive to me, but then again, I only remembered loving their romance, Cam being an unexpected guy to be so patient and understanding and a few other sketchy details. So, this made me fall in love with their relationship and Cam's persistence all over again, as well as get the steam in a whole new way. Bottom Line: Fell in love with Cam all over again.

      Publishing a retelling of your novel from another perspective is a popular thing this year. We had Walking Disaster, This Girl and many more. Apparently J. Lynn decided to join the crowd with novella Trust in Me, a retelling from male perspective of love story in her contemporary romance novel Wait for You.I loved Wait for You and Cam was my favorite character there so I was excited to read the retelling from his point of view. But I think that decision to tell the story from Avery's point of view in original was a good one. Because when you don't have insight into her thought she sometimes looks like a total jerk and all you could think of is 'poor Cam'.In the end Trust in Me sounded like a retelling of a book from a person who skips some (to her unnecessary) parts and makes the story more shallow.       Shortcake was staring at me, her eyes a wealth of secrets. Our gazes locked and something infinite passed between us, a spark I swore I could almost see with my eyes.

      Honestly, Wait for You was one of my top reads of the year. I read it back in March, and devoured every last word. I lived and breathed the characters, completely immersing myself into their world. The language and tone in which Jennifer Armentrout writes is just so inviting. You aren’t simply reading a book, you are LIVING it. You dread turning the page only because it means you are that much closer to the end, and even the moments when nothing is necessarily happening are never dull. You feel every single emotion the characters do, every prick of pain. The relief, the sadness, the joy, the hope, the lust, and the peace. It will ALL hit you ten-fold when you read a book of hers, no matter the subject.

      Avery was such a mystery to me; a paradox of innocence and allure-a mystery I was determined to solve.

      Because I love the book so much, I did a re-read of Wait for You before starting on Trust In Me. When I first read WfM I didn’t know there WOULD be an alternate point-of-view (POV) book. So this time while reading it, I found myself anticipating reading certain scenes from Cam’s POV. Needless to say, I was NOT disappointed. Hell, if anything, I fell in love with him all the more. There is something about hearing what goes through a man’s mind that makes me melt. EVERY TIME. Having just read WfM, I skimmed through a lot of the dialogue between him and Cam, but there were actually quite a few scenes that were new to this book. Not only were there new scenes between Cam and Avery, but we got to see a different perspective of his relationship with Jase, Ollie, Theresa, and his parents. Trust in Me sets us up really well for the next book, which will be about Theresa and Jase, and I CAN.NOT.WAIT!

      The one thing I’d asked from Avery was the one thing she couldn’t give me. Nothing, not even love, would work without trust.

      Cam Hamilton is a character that will forever hold a piece of my heart. The way he selflessly cares for others, protects fiercely, loves madly. And don’t even get me started on his cockiness and sense of humor. There honestly wasn’t one thing I would change about him. They say you never forget your first, and while I may end up loving future couples in this series, I will always come back to Cam <3

      For the sheer fact that I will NEVER get enough Cam, this book gets a 5 star rating from me. I cannot wait to see what happens next in the books

I personally enjoyed it even more than the first book.Opening Sentence: Jase Winstead was a cruel motherfucker.The Review: Cameron Hamilton is a total chick magnet and he knows it. With a player reputation and a college full of beautiful girls Cam can have his pick of anyone of them. Until he meets Avery Morgansten, she seems to be totally immune to his charm. Cam has always had a soft side for the underdogs and Avery comes across as a lost puppy. The more he gets to know her the more she intrigues him. Cam’s never thought any girl would turn him down for a date, but Avery turns him down flat the first time he asks her. For some crazy reason Cam can’t get Avery out of his head. He is determined to get her to say yes eventually. But Avery has secrets that she may never be willing to share. Secrets that could end their relationship before it really even gets started. Can Cam gain the trust of the one girl he actually sees a real future with or will she keep shutting him out?I loved reading this story from Cam’s POV. For me it was even better than the original story. In Wait for You Cam is this charming, confidant, arrogant guy that never seems unsure of himself. But when you get inside of his head you find that he’s not as confident as he comes across. He never knows what to expect from Avery and that is confusing for him. You get to see the vulnerable side of Cam that you never got to see in Wait for You. I loved every minute of being inside his head. There are so many reasons to love Cam and Trust in Me gives you even more.This was a great read for me. You get all of the best scenes from the original story and what Cam’s take on them were. There are also many new scenes added which made this story unique and different from the first. You get to learn more about Cam’s family and friends. Also, in true J. Lynn fashion you also get lots of sexy steamy scenes. Jennifer’s writing has a way of making you really feel the emotions she is trying to get across, it is so engaging and hard to stop reading. Trust in Me also set up the next book in the series perfectly. You get little hints about what is going to happen next and Be With Me is one of my most anticipated reads for 2014. I would highly recommend this to anyone that was a fan of Wait for You, you will not be disappointed. Also, you could start with this book as well, it could be a standalone. Either way, you should really read this story. It is an emotional rollercoaster, but it is totally worth the ride!Notable Scene:In that moment, I realized I was seeing a very different side of Avery.
