    Poems Of Life

    CALL OF YOUR VOICE.

AS I WALK DOWN THROUGH THE VALLEY

    AND AROUND THE CLIFFS,

    WITH THE SUN PIERCING THROUGH,

    THE RAIN CLOUDS,

    THE CALL OF YOUR VOICE,

    COMES TO ME CLEAR.

AS IF I CAN SEE YOU BECKONING ME HOME,

    WITH ALL HASTE.

THE VISION I SEE THROUGH THE RAIN THAT’S FALLING,

    JUST LIKE THE WIND.

    IT SEEMED WE WERE OBLIVIOUS,

    TO WHAT WE LEFT BEHIND.

BUT TIME DID NOT STAND STILL FOR LONG,

AS WE HAD TO GO BACK TO WHERE WE BELONG.

BUT WE HAD ONE THING IN SEPTEMBER

AND THAT WAS ONE LOVELY DAY TO REMEMBER.

    HAYWIRE

ONE DAY MY THOUGHTS WENT HAYWIRE,

I COULD NOT CONTROL THEM SO.

    MY WORK WENT STILL.

I WISHED THAT TIME STOOD STILL,

ALSO LATER, WHEN MY MIND CAME BACK TO ME,

WHAT LOVELY THOUGHTS, LINGERED WITH ME.

    I WISHED THAT YOU
