About this ebook

After the death of his son, William searches for a purpose in life, which leads him to find God. With his new faith, he champions counseling for gay people, whom he feels are imprisoned by their homosexual desires. When God’s ways yield weak results, he devises a new plan: what if science can help? After searching for the right person, he discovers the work of an ambitious medical researcher who has been attempting to replicate the work of Simon Levay, who believed he had isolated the biological origin for homosexuality. If only this young, researcher had access to a healthy test-subject pool to prove these findings. To what extent will his team of “converted” gays succeed in their new mission? Will Scott prove to have the stomach or Isaac up to the challenge?

Dr. Stephen Riles is convinced that his work will create a name for himself. His ambition buries him in his work, while leaving his wife neglected and his 21-year-old son, Tommy, distant. His drive also prevents him from questioning the motives of this religious group or even looking deep enough into where their test subjects come from. Could they all really be the result of a number of suicides?

Detective John Thompson, having just returned to Philadelphia after a failed attempt to make life work in San Diego, is trying to assuage the anxiety and depression his partner, Kevin, is facing as a new Philadelphia resident and his stress at work. The reports on a number of disappearances within the city limits isn’t helping. Could it be that the connection all of these cases contain is the sexuality of these people?
