    Neville Francis grew up in a family that liked to travel a lot. As a result of this he spent quite a bit of time on the road and used to have to help his father read the dreaded road map. It was just a big cumbersome thing that he wished would disappear. He soon got his wish as the GPS device was introduced. Over time it has become mans next best friend. No longer was there a need to stay on the phone getting complicated directions. All that you need to do was input the destination information and voila, the GPS unit would map out the best route to get there. Neville admits that he is a bit of a tech head and loves what technology has done to make thing easier. That is why he chose to write a book on the GPS Unit. It is not only extremely effective at providing direction but as a host of other uses as well and best of all, it is a small device that can be carried just about anywhere.
