About this ebook

After Maureen's husband dies, she imagines that the years of abuse are over, but while looking for the Halloween decorations in the attic, Maureen finds a gift-wrapped GPS with her name on the box: an early birthday present from her late husband. When the voice from the machine starts giving her sinister directions, she learns that sometimes the dead are restless . . . and she's locked in a battle not just for her life but for her soul.

Chilling Stephen King-style story from Jennifer Weiner. Had no idea she was such a good horror writer!

A great short story which keeps you pulled into the mystery and humor. (Great for Halloween)! Since some GPS will grind on your nerves, thought it was quirky and funny. Jennifer Weiner is an awesome author which always steps outside the box – love the short e-stories and recommend!

not bad for such a short novella. It was short, yet still managed to be creepy. I finished it in a couple of hours.

Worth the quick read. Darker than Weiner's normal subject matter (which is saying a lot if you know her work) - somehow, it just never seems to have light moments. I think it's too short for the light hearted moments that make her novels with serious subject matters seem like they're not THAT dark.
