      Preface

      The first part of my adult spiritual path was becoming an energy healer. The calling to become a healer was so strong for me that once I considered it in thought, it took over my life, rapidly sending me all the right teachers and guidance needed to fulfill this life purpose. Very soon thereafter, I realized that with this new calling in life, I was to rediscover and nurture the intuitive gifts I had first noticed at the age of eight.

      As a young child, I was taught to meditate alongside my maternal grandmother. It was during one particular meditation sit at age eight that I had my first vision of a spirit guide. I continue to practice meditation today and have twice completed the Vipassana ten-day silent meditation retreat as taught by S.N. Goenka. Meditation has proven to be a profound source of grounding for me throughout my whole life.

      I first felt the manifestation of energy flow as physical movement in my body around my teenage years. One highly intuitive Buddhist monk had taught me that my hands can move with an energy all its own and act as a pendulum of sorts when questions were addressed to spirit. This experience laid the groundwork for a developing relationship with the loving beings that supported me on the other side. Today, my hands can detect the physical parts of the body that requires healing through a both hand scan of the body and a visual scanning with the mind's eye.

      A devastating loss of a loved one during my young adult life brought me to dig deeper into my spirituality. This was the first time I connected with the Angelic realm and was able to heal from this loss with their help. This healing journey was a major milestone in my spiritual development
