      ABOUT THE AUTHOR

      Sean Wong, an accomplished and inspirational media entrepreneur, life coach, singer, songwriter, producer and author, is a Singapore Honoree of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons Of The World Award (JCI TOYP) in 2012 and a recipient of the Spirit Of Enterprise Award in 2006.

      Having represented Singapore as an international singer songwriter performing in Asia, Europe and USA for fifteen years, Sean Wong is a multi-medalist at the World Championships Of Performing Arts held in Hollywood, Los Angeles in the year 2009 and was awarded numerous prestigious international awards at International Music Festivals around the world, including Italy, Spain, Prague, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Russia.

      Sean produced and launched his debut Mandarin Pop album Confused in Singapore and Malaysia under the Rock Records’ label in 2001, which led him to be nominated for the Best Local Artiste Award in the Singapore Hit Awards 2002. The following year, Sean was appointed the official singer for Sing Singapore’s national theme song A Place In My Heart. His second solo album Number One was later released by EQ Music in 2006. Supported by Universal Records in the Philippines, he recorded a duet album with Rnee Hidalgo, an award-winning Filipino artiste. As a songwriter, Sean has also received international awards for his original works. He now has over twenty published works in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and the Philippines.

      Sean began his entrepreneurial journey since 1999, with a successful chain of five gift shops in Singapore and other diversified businesses, providing services in animation, design, print, music production, music publishing, book publishing and product distribution. After the unfortunate collapse of his businesses during the economic downturn in 2004, Sean was on the brink of bankruptcy but made his comeback within two years as a personal development life coach, mentoring young entrepreneurs, coaching aspiring individuals and international performing arts talents. With his wealth of experience in business development and brand consultancy, he is currently managing a group of companies in the media and entertainment industry.

      As a breakthrough performance coach for over a decade, Sean has been a highly-sought-after keynote speaker for corporations and schools, sharing topics on personal success, branding, team-building and entrepreneurship. He has been invited for radio and TV interviews on several occasions, including Channel NewsAsia, Good Morning Singapore, etc and was regularly featured in various local and international media, including The Straits Times, The Business Times, Lianhe Zaobao, Lianhe Wanbao, Shin Ming Daily News, Today, U-Weekly, I-Weekly, 8 Days, Berita Harian, Her World, etc.

      As an active volunteer in grassroots organizations, Sean commits much of his time serving the local community. He is the Director of Musical Theatre Limited, an arts charity dedicated to creating new works of musical theatre in Singapore. A member of Mensa Singapore, he is also the 2014 National Secretary General for JCI Singapore, one of the National Organization Members of JCI, a worldwide non-profit organization that provides development opportunities empowering young people to create positive change.

      Sean is blissfully married to beauty and fashion blogger Adelyne Velvet (www.adelynevelvet.com) since 2009 and they have a son named Ayden Seanady, who was born in 2012.
