    This sensible book, written with readers lacking a scientific or technical background in mind, explores the history of global warming — actually, global overheating — that is changing the world’s climate and will, if it continues, destabilize human civilization. The book then describes an achievable plan to reverse global overheating, some innovative but little-known technologies to do the heavy lifting, and actions by the U.S. government to support the plan and the technologies. U.S. contributions to the global effort to stabilize the global climate will create millions of jobs in the U.S. and widespread prosperity.
    The book is short — about 7,000 words (or 8 pages in a business or news magazine) in 23 topics with pictures and charts. Other relevant issues that in the interest of brevity are not discussed in the topics are described in an Appendix for readers seeking additional information. The book then describes an achievable plan to reverse global overheating, some innovative but little-known technologies to do the heavy lifting, and actions by the U.S. government to support the plan and the technologies.       The book is short — about 7,000 words (or 8 pages in a business or news magazine) in 23 topics with pictures and charts. Other relevant issues that in the interest of brevity are not discussed in the topics are described in an Appendix for readers seeking additional information. Notes on Sources for the statements, quotations, and images in the book appear after the Appendix. Since almost everything in the book is documented, there’s a lot to explore for readers interested in source material. But the notes themselves contain no new information and are not linked in the topics so as not to distract you while you’re reading the book.
