About this ebook

Our feline friends have spent eons observing, napping, pondering, napping, and taking notes about the human condition. In between naps, they've realized that we humans could use some catlike guidance when it comes to handling the ups and downs of life. In this book they've condescended to share their invaluable wisdom in short advice columns such as "Always Stay at Least 30 Feet from a Loved One" and "Never Let Anyone Dress You." Whether it's coping with romance, surviving a social gathering, or clawing your way to the top of the corporate ladder only to realize you can't get down, the cats in this ebook will have you relaxed and ready to take on the world! Just after one more nap.

Hilarious, adorable, but probably best for kitty cat lovers. Guess what? That's a lot of readers!

This was a very cute, humorous book about the lessons cats would teach us if we could understand them. With advice about relationships, work, and ways to just enjoy life more, I'd recommend this book to anyone who has ever had experience with cats.

A cute little gift book for cat lovers and people that hate (or love to hate) motivational posters and books. I didn't find it quite as funny as "I could Pee on This" but it was still enjoyable. Fun to read a few pages when you need a snarky pick-me-up.

Mothing much to say except this is just plain humorous.

I received this book as part of the Early Reviewers books. I have to admit I am a bit bias for cats. I enjoyed this book. The advice from the cats are pretty much true. This was a fun and adorable read. A book I will definitely keep on my bookshelf.

I think these books have finally jumped the shark. The previous books of poems were funny, but this was super repetitive, not very well written, and kind of dumb. The "advice" is just a list of things cats do. It's way too wordy for this sort of a gift book, and there aren't enough adorable pictures. The advice isn't funny enough or original enough. Would make a good gift for people who love cats and don't think too hard, but otherwise I would give it a pass (and buy "I Could Pee on This" instead).

N.B This was a promotional copy given to me through LibraryThing's giveaway book program.

As a short novelty read, You Need More Sleep is a quick, fun miniature-sized book that will sound familiar to anyone who loves - and is frequently frustrated by - cats. The advice given is perfectly cat-like in nature, wittily written, and short enough that the joke doesn't grow old and stale before the ending.

My cat just threw up on the bed this morning, so reading through this book felt particularly relevant today. Every page I turned to had me thinking of a specific behavior of one of my cats. Very cute, funny, and quick read for cat lovers, makes a great gift for the cat lady in your life. (I received this book from LibraryThing's Early Reviewers, but all views are my own)

Charming and funny. A great gift for any friend or relative that you know to be a lover of cats! True to cat life as well! Hah!

I was hoping for fun/quirky/tongue in cheek advice from cats about living a more relaxed human life. Instead it just shows stock pictures of cats and describes frustrating things that they do. One extra star for the cute pictures. May be good for a dedicated cat fancier, but it wasn't original or fun to read.

What I believed to be a small little quirky life book with pictures about cats turned out to be more. It is still a quirky little life book with pictures of cats, but full of realtistic and usable advice. Great book for cat lovers and others in your life.

If you own cats or have ever owned cats you'll laugh out out at least once at the sarcastic advice from 'cats'. It's amazing how we all recognize the same things about these creatures and how so many of us anthropomorphize them. Good stocking stuffer for all cat people.

Meh. A small gift type book, so repetitive and smug I couldn't bother to finish it.

This book would be a good gift for a cat lover – either as a stocking stuffer or a party favor. It is the same size as the author’s earlier book, I Could Pee on This. Both are approximately 6 ½ by 5 inches and 111 pages of text and pictures so that they are gift-size. I was disappointed in You Need More Sleep; it did not seem nearly as original and fun as the earlier book. I think a big difference is that You Need More Sleep is in prose instead of poetry, and tries to be more serious.
