Decisions should depend on available facts and not on emotions arising from your relationship with those affected by the decision. In other words, you should try as much as possible to avoid mixing business with your personal life. Your judgment could be clouded if you make decisions based on your emotions.

    Even if the outcome wasn’t what you expected, it doesn’t mean that you made the wrong decision. It is possible that something could have changed after you made the decision. It is also possible that the outcome could be below par due to poor implementation of the resolutions made. You therefore have to go through the outcome and try to figure out what could have gone wrong.
