Kathy A. Mills, PhD, is Professor of Literacies and Digital Cultures at the Institute for Learning Sciences and Teacher Education, Australian Catholic University, Brisbane. Professor Mills’ leading research examines gaps in current knowledge and educational uses of digital media for language and literacy learning. Current Australian Research Council Future Fellow and President of the AERA, Writing and Literacies Executive (2017-2019), Kathy has published over 100 academic works, gaining numerous international research awards, fellowships, grants, and research leadership roles.
