ABOUT THIS BOOK

P1/P6The Bible is one of the most read, most loved, most treasured and best sellers book in the world. However, both the Bible and real life experiences also had given us many topics or phenomena that are so hard for us to understand without using the principles of Intelligent Design that was discovered in science.

P2In our current science, I believe that you had been hearing about Intelligent Design which is being supported by Michael Behe, William Dembski or Stephen Meyer etc. The old Intelligent Design (ID) that they had been endorsing has no or has little explanatory power to life’s most asked questions. This old ID has a weak scientific foundation, thus, it was unreliable to answer those difficult questions. On the other hand, the Intelligent Design that I will be using in this book is the newly discovered Intelligent Design . The differences between the two are obvious. The old ID used the principles of complexity, irreducible complexity, specified complexity and information as their supports to the old Intelligent Design. We cannot use these principles since these principles are not the actual nature of intelligence that we are seeing in natural realm.

P3Whereas in , uses real intelligence and its principles as the main source of explanations. The following are the principles of the new intelligence for Intelligent Design that this book will be using to explain those unsolved and mysteries topics that humanity is begging to be answered:

P4Intelligent Design had opened our eyes to many insights and hidden secrets of the natural world and spiritual world when we use the real intelligence and its principles in interpreting biblical messages and many difficult topics, especially in naturalistic science.

P5In this book, I compiled many hard-to-be-solved and mostly hard-to-be-answered topics in the Bible, in Christianity and in Christian Apologetics. But, all of them were given explanations based on the newly discovered intelligence and Intelligent Design . as said a while ago.

P6/P6As you read this book, you will know how the newly discovered real intelligence and Intelligent Design had been used to explain those difficult topics.

SECTION 100.

PROBLEM OF GOOD AND EVIL

P1/P29When I first encounter this argument, problem, or dilemma in Christianity, I did not give too much attention to this topic. I think that this topic - the problem of good and evil, was not important to my Christian life, so why care about it? I am going to Heaven anyway! Maybe I was one of the many normal persons who did not care about philosophy on that time. However, I have seen the negative or bad effect of this argument to the friend of my closest Christian brothers in the same local church that they were attending – especially when no logical and scientific answer could be found. It was a sad experience for me (and of course, for my friend) that I have seen this topic literally destroyed one's faith and crushed the life and lifestyle of one person – especially to one of my closest friend and brother in Christianity. My friend could not help him but I saw how the downed brother’s faith was shaken. It was emotionally painful experienced for both to my closest friend and me, and of course, for the real victim. Truly, real life experience is the best teacher – but sometimes they are painful.

P2The second time I encountered this topic was when I joined the discussion forums in the internet. In the online debate forums, we discussed this in the topic of Philosophy. For the very first time of my life, I saw and sensed that this topic was very important to every persons in the world! Based on my experience in debating those persons against this topic, I sensed that this topic became more difficult when the person (literally) experienced evil or bad things in life – the debate turned not to be intellectual or logical debate but it became emotional debate. When it became emotional debate, no one learned. In addition, it became dangerous.

P3Yes, this topic of good and evil is, I think, one of the most emotional topic and delicate topic that I had encountered in my life from the time I joined the online debate. How do I know it? Because the experience of evil or bad is very painful and very real – though the degree of pain varied from one person to another person, from place to place, from time to time, and from experience to another experience. All of us hope for a better day but that is not always the case.

Losing A Job

P4For example, if you lost your job, and you could not find one, and yet you have to feed your family, you will surely know how painful it is emotionally and mentally. That is one example of evil that we (or some of you) experienced. In addition, the degree of pain of the cause of evil became worse when, say, your daughter was confined to a hospital and you do not have enough money to pay the bills because you do not have a job. In addition, you have to pay all the medicines and rehabilitation – oh my goodness, it is so painful, emotionally painful, especially for the parents of that young daughter. Moreover, to ask why evil exists is a very logical and very normal. Why we have to suffer this and experience this evil? Why? Moreover, the worst answer that we could get from our current Christianity is, because of your sin! What sin? What will be your reaction when your daughter is on the hospital and one Christian told you that because of your sin or your daughter’s sin that you had to suffer this system of the casualty of evil? Assuming that you have sinned, you will be suffering in Hell anyway by the pain of rejecting God; why you had to suffer here on earth? Is earth already Hell? We have not yet been finally tried and judged, why we have to experience this kind of evil punishments? Is God fair or not?

P5Can you picture now how touchy or emotional this topic is, especially when you are in the midst of painful (evil or bad) suffering that you did not make or even though you did make? You did not make this system of pain, you did not create the universe, you did not create your body that sense pains and you did not wish to suffer and experience pains due to evil! And yet you, I, and we are experiencing them. In addition, you did not beg God to create your life to suffer pain and experience evil. God did not show us before He gave us life the future and its painful lifestyle or reality! Pain/evil is hidden to us since when we was delivered as babies, we did not know how painful to come out from our mother’s womb!

P6Moreover, the system of becoming hungry or feeling hungry or thirsty or protecting life or continuing to live is also a painful system. It is so painful because humans have to make foods for them, work for their own needs - that cause humans pains and hardships. They are not easy – and those are some examples of sources of pain or evil. Therefore, the logical rebellious argument will be, God is not good. In addition, if God is good and I suffer pain of evil, then, God is not good and He is a Liar of being good. He is worse than the Devil since by definition, the Devil only creates pain and sorrow – or evil. "

"In the philosophy of religion, the problem of evil is the question of how to reconcile the existence of evil with that of a deity who is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent (see theism).[1][2] An argument from evil attempts to show that the co-existence of evil and such a deity is unlikely or impossible, and attempts to show the contrary have been traditionally known as theodicies.

A wide range of responses have been given to the problem of evil. These include the explanation that God's act of creation and God's act of judgment are the same act.[3] God's condemnation of evil is believed to be executed and expressed in his created world; a judgment that is unstoppable due to God's all powerful, opinionated will; a constant and eternal judgment that becomes announced and communicated to other people on Judgment Day.
