    Born in 1971 Richard started school life as an outgoing, bright, and lively child. By the time he left school in 1988 he had no grades or qualifications and had become withdrawn to the point he barely able to communicate with the world at large. Ten years later and stuck in a dead end job Richard made the discovery that changed his life and for the first time inspired him to learning. Fast forward to the present Richard has been unstoppable in the intervening years, with an unquenchable thirst for learning he has returned to college, completed distance learning courses, read, and listened to the equivalent of several degree courses in educational and self-improvement book materials, become an NLP master practitioner and a clinical hypnotherapist, all whilst holding down a day job. To date Richard has written five educational books of his own utilising a creative mind to rival that of anyone in the world, pouring everything he has learnt into crafting powerful, unique learning experiences for his readers.       CHAPTER ONE

      Your Magic 23 Memory Team

      Learning and Recall:

      LINEAR VERSUS GLOBAL MEMORY:

      Your life is an open book so imagine if you had spent it only ever reading the even numbers or the odd numbers of any given book? You would never get the full picture right? In fact you would only ever be getting half a picture of the subject, and a confused one at that. Thing is, that is exactly what has been happening for the majority of us. To illustrate the point better, create an image in your mind of a large hard back educational book... Open it approximately half way through so it remains open by itself, on the left hand page you see instructions on how to perform the subject material in a logical sequence. That is, all the steps you would need to take, from A to B and everything in-between. On the right page lies your inspiration, your creativity - your vision of how the subject might work in practice.

      If our lives are an open book then so are our minds yet most of us are dominated by either left brain or right brain thinking. If you are left brain orientated you will go through your formative education years paying attention to the left hand pages of the books while skimming over the right hand pages. Likewise, the creative right brain people will focus on the right hand pages whilst barely even aware of the left hand pages. Unfortunately for this group of people (me included) the educational system is oriented toward a left brain style of teaching that leaves the right brainers out in the cold.

      This is why you will hear stories about some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs and eminent figures having left school early, without qualifications, and labelled as no hope dreamers. There are only two ways of really taking off in any one subject and becoming a leading figure yourself (be you left brain or right brain orientated) and they are to either (a) get excited by a subject to the point you become so hungry to learn everything there is to know, that your passion for the subject ignites the right side of your brain. Or (b) you partner with someone who knows the subject already from the right side, thus you pool your resources.

      If you are a right brain thinker, by now you will have realised why you felt held back, and that school was a drag in all but a few subjects - if you were lucky. Those subjects you DID look forward to spoke to you loudly enough you were able to close the left to right brain gulf and get the whole of your brain involved in the learning process. What you are about to learn with the memory mastery system will make the difference between the two systems so stark you may become prone to uncharitable thoughts toward an educational system that effectively put you in a straight-jacket at a young age and never removed it before releasing you back into the world as an adult.

      If you are left brain oriented you may have naturally excelled at school, frustrated only by the disruptive right brainers, but you too have been handicapped by this system. If your education has afforded you an above average salaried, comfortable job in adulthood your handicap will be less obvious but just look up to the owner or CEO of the company you work for and chances are the person looking back is a right-brain person NOT left-brain. The reason for this? They had the vision to go further and set up their own business... From now on this report is going to teach you how to see the complete picture too.

      How we store information:

      THE TRADITIONAL WAY - Consider you are given a piece of information to store in your memory, but in order to store that piece of information you must first build a house in which to store and protect it from exposure to the elements and degradation. So you repeat the information over and over to yourself, you work on it until gradually a foundation and house forms around that piece of information, thus anchoring it in your memory. And so you learn to repeat this process over and over again for every single new piece of information, concept, and idea that comes your way. Why? Because we discovered a system that works and we stick with it – no matter how inefficient. By the time you leave the education system some fifteen years later you have built vast cities of knowledge in your head with no roadmap to the addresses where the information is stored.

      In fact all you can see is the latest row of houses you built and you can probably remember your way back to the houses behind that row – houses that were built within the last year or so. You will only be able to remember information you
