Introduction
Learning how to run a camera is something that anyone can do. It is a simple process, but there are some steps that you need to learn and understand in order to make sure that your pictures turn out perfect each and every time. This guidebook is a great starting point for beginners to help you learn how to use a camera, get the great pictures, and even to pick out the right camera for your needs.
Chapter 1 is going to spend some time talking about the right camera for your needs. Every photographer is going to need something difference when it comes to the best camera. Those who are taking high speed sports shots will like a faster camera compared to those who are going to take family portraits. This chapter helps you to pick the one that is right for you. Chapter 2 talks more about some of the different features that come with a good camera. There are a lot of different features that comes with a camera and you should consider the shutter speed, the flash, and so much more to get the right one, even within your budget.
Chapter 3 will move on to some of the importance of the composition. It is not always about the subject you are using in your picture, but how you frame them and what is in the background. This is one of the hardest things to learn during this process and you should spend some extra time on this chapter to get some of the basics down. Then we will move on to color and lighting in your picture in chapter 4. Color and lighting will help to make your pictures look sharp and beautiful so learning how to manage these can make a big difference in how the pictures come out.
Chapter 5 moves on to what you will do once the pictures are done. We will look at how to edit your photos to give them the look that you want. This chapter focuses on how to level, do layers, sharpen your photos, and how to do the Orton Effect. While this chapter is going to focus on how to do this editing in Photoshop, it is easy to learn how to do these editing techniques in other software as well. Chapter 6 will finish out this chapter with some suggestions on how to fix some of the common issues that can come up with your photos. We will look at how to fix issues with foregrounds, blurry photos, and dark photos so that even as a beginner you can have the perfect picture every time.
When you are a beginner, you may worry that taking photographs are just too difficult.
