Book Abstract
Buck Wild is Slivinski’s critical analysis of the Republican Party and how its abandonment of limited government principles betrays the very foundation of the party and threatens the future of the country. Slivinski believes that what used to be one of the biggest reasons voters supported the party – less government and more individual freedom – no longer exists.
The book is written as a historical review of change within the Republican Party and reveals how and why Republicans, not Democrats, have become the biggest spenders in Washington, abandoned the principles that put them in power after such a long drought in Congress, betrayed taxpayers and fiscal conservatives and planted the seeds for the undoing of the party.
