1. ABSTRACT

The Transit Quarters (TQ) is the TCS accommodation service provided to its employees when they are deputed from one city to other. This is the internal admin management tool.

This application is developed as employee service based and admin management. Hence it involves generating various forms and mails when the employee avails the service. This involves various security issues such as employee login for the use of the application and restricted viewing strategies depending upon the privileges provided to the particular login member etc. Automating the existing system helps for the auto-generation of the mails and helps to carry out the things without much delays and the database can be maintained effectively for further references.

Objective:

This involves automating the existing Administrative system for Transit Quarters which presently uses various Spreadsheets, mail based transactions and other manual operations to manage and maintain the related information. Automating the Administrative system enables employees to login and use the TQ services on TCS intranet without manual operations hence providing continuous service for the employees without time and delay constraint.

1.1 Current Business Process:

›  Raising the request: Associates who are eligible for company accommodation should initiate a request duly recommended and authorized by their GL / managers and forward the same to Administration for processing.
