About this ebook
I often reflect on the way this disaster came to be. How could a democratic society allow a duly elected government to label some human beings as human-animal, and demote them to a level of no more importance than any other head of farm stock; subject by law to compassionate care, market sale, or humane CULL, as deemed an appropriate business decision by the government itself or the corporations who owned them.
However, we all stood mutely by when in 2022, the “human-animal redefinition law” passed the world Congress. The classification of people as human-animal chattel had been a long, slow process, filled, in the beginning, with many protests and arguments. The whole classification process was innocuous enough to start—a mandated micro-chip implanted in all humans—this was intended to allow the government to be sure money and food was allotted in the correct amounts. Touted as a lifesaving tool, it also allowed tracking and immediate identification. This implant opened the door for a much darker usage. At first, this set well with many families who had non-productive family members and friends who would not, or could not provide for themselves. Letting them live in their home and having food and care paid for by the government was a huge relief. Since no criteria had yet been published concerning the level of care for “human-animal chattel', unsuspecting family members naively believed it would be sufficient and welcomed the strays back into their arms as soon as they were safely on the government dole. Looking back, it would appear that some merit had now been added to the comments made by a well-known intellectual shortly after the 2010 bill passed, “due to a lack of transparency and the stupidity of the American voter."
Meanwhile, happy, busy people quickly forgot all about that awful “label.” They were soon lulled back into the false sense of security that living in a three hundred year old democracy can so comfortably provide.

I have lived in Washington State most of my life. Surrounded by tamarack and fir trees, the songs I listen to are the wind in the trees, the birds chirping and squirrels playing. I can think of nothing more calming and inspiring. In 2012 I started Dragonfly Editing. Working with amazing authors has rekindled my thoughts of writing, and I have to thank Donna Shelton for the offer of co-authoring. So many story lines are now streaming across my mind...

Chapter 1 — A NEW WORLD ORDER
Bear in mind, I am not a member of the elite class who rules everything now that the New World Order
has taken over the process of manufacturing. In the world of today, I, as a member of the outdated human-animal chattel class, now work in the hatchery and restock process of growing chickens for the world market.
In 2022, the Human-Animal Redefinition Law
passed the world Congress by a unanimous vote. This wolf in sheep's clothing,
cloaked in benevolent concern for low functioning individuals, was, they said, intended to assure funds were available to care for those millions of people who were so mentally or physically challenged as to be unable to provide for themselves.
It was true; there were many individuals in the world that desperately needed the care the government offered. The labels animal and chattel,
were understandably offensive—but were a legality. After all, is not a homo sapien
an animal? Chattel,
they explained, was, perhaps, a poor choice of words in American society, but throughout the rest of the world, the word generally defined wealth and value. They claimed it was actually a term of respect. Never fear
, they said we are an enlightened society who understands genetics.
The public version of the new law, presented to the masses for their review, simply stated that humans with certain skeletal and cerebral genetic markers were to be classified as human-animal chattel.
Words that were inarguably offensive to most when applied to humans, animal and chattel
were necessitated, they explained, due simply to legal definition.
In order to justify the change, it was put forth that humans had long held the definition of the class Homo sapiens to be an animal whose large brain distinguished him from other primates. Thus... animal,
they said. While chattel could, if one looked at it that way, be interpreted to mean personal property... In this case,
they stated, it simply means the state of taking over the personal custodianship of a low functioning person in order to assure the appropriate decisions are made regarding their long-term care.
They assured their constituents, with straight faces, that it was just semantics.
Genetic markers would be used to determine levels of capability of certain human-animal chattel. Exactly what those markers were was not shared with the public. It began with a mandated micro-chip implanted in all humans. Originally, this was intended to allow the government to be sure money and food was allotted in the correct amounts to the appropriate human-animal chattel, though it also allowed tracking and immediate identification.
The closed door
full version of the bill was modeled on the old socialized health-care act of 2010, and began the genetic selection process , which was pushed through by elitists in the same year; using the old Pass it, then you can read it later
philosophy.
Predictably, the general public suffered the words animal and chattel.
It seemed innocent enough because, in the beginning, the homeless could, if they chose, just continue to live with friends or relatives; in addition, the government would assume responsibility for the care and feeding of any human-animal who met the genetic criteria, and who was not, at that time, already employed by the government or within a corporation. Their busy lives and let-someone-else-take-care-of-it attitude left little room for concerns over lawmaking.
When those new terms had been used enough to numb the population’s objection to them, and time enough had passed to quiet the shouts for political correctness,
the definition of human-animal chattel was expanded, thereby demoting most of the rest of the population to a level of no more importance than any other farm animal. This made the corporations subject, by law, to tend to the care, sale, or euthanasia
