      Age: IntermediateMedia: WatercolorThe genre of this book is realistic fiction because the people in the story are not factual people, but rather people who only exist in the story. They could be real people though because they are normal human beings.

      This book goes through similarities among most children in the world. The book looks at how children eat, need clothes, live in different houses, need people to love them, like things to snuggle, and like to play.Genre: InformationalCritique: This book is an okay informational book. It kind of fits into the concept realm and presents some factual information, but it also has a lot of observational comparisons that can/usually are true but may not always be true.Critique of Style: The author uses repetitive sentence structure throughout the book. For example, the page starts with a few introductory words and then forms a list of items all beginning with the the same word, usually "they". This helps the story by highlighting the presented ideas that there are many ways children from very different cultures can find similarities.Media: ink and wash

      This is a god example of a multicultural book for children. This book starts out with kids playing together in the neighborhood and how they interact with their friends and families. This book is important to the classroom setting because the teacher can use this book to talk about many things. The important takeaway from this book is that all children may be different in certain ways but they all have their same needs. This book also helps with kids learning to play well with others.

      This is an informational book about how children are alike, all the things that are the same between all kinds of children, without a story or narrative. The illustrations are interesting and this book would be good for middle elementary discussion on diversity.

      This book is a book about how no matter where you are from or what you look like we are all the same in some way or another.I liked the book. Looking from a child's perspective I could see how they would enjoy it. There a lot of pictures to keep there attention and to help them interact with the book.I could see reading this book to a class and then having a project of drawing pictures of us and our surroundings then maybe comparing them to someone else's picture to see how they are alike. Showing the class that we are all different but we all have similarities to.
