      What are scenes, and how do you use them?

      Writing fiction step by step: story, plotting, and scenes

      Before we move on, let's define story, plotting and scenes so that we're on the same page (pun intended. :-))

      According to Google, a story is: an account of imaginary or real people and events told for entertainment.

      To write your story, you need a plot… A plot in fiction is what happens in your story. In essence, change happens.

      To entertain your readers, your plot needs ACTION.
