- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Bestselling author and “The Wolf of Wall Street”, Jordan Belfort, shares step-by-step instructions on using his very successful Straight Line System for any business, industry and even your personal life. He notes that you do not have to be in sales to use this system. You can use it from selling your great qualities in a job interview to selling anyone on a great idea.He teaches one how to use the Three Tens to influence a customer. He discusses the five core elements of the Straight Line System and notes the three things that “absolutely must come across in the first four seconds of an encounter with a customer”. There are many other great factors to consider of which he includes examples and links to his website.See my complete review at The Eclectic Review .

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I very useful book. I wonder how Jordan would sell a health service that is the best thing after sliced bread but that nobody understand how it works.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Great book overall but I think there was too much fluff , not enough material for a beginner to truly learn and master the essence of the system.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Genious salesman sucks at selling own book: In this book about the genious selling system "The Straight Line", the proportions feel like the ratio: 20 sentences boasting about how many salesmen became millionaires with this method, to one sentence actually about that method. While the method doesn't seem that bad, the rest - after some pages- is so repetitious and without substance, which makes it so boring to read. With every sentence Jordan Belfort tries so hard to sell you this book, but the funny thinng is: You are only reading it, because you ALREADY bought it, so why is the author wasting your patience, desperately trying to convince you, how good it is? YOU ALREADY BOUGHT IT! Second of all, he says in one of the early chapters, that a salesman should establish trust in his competence and persona by coming straight to the point. He completely fails doing so himself! You already trust his material, because hes the goddamn Wolf of Wallstreet, but he is wasting so much effort to still trying to persuade you. That makes him look incredibly untrustworthy. Sorry, Mr Belfort, I expected a Wolf, but I got a barking dog.
