The Basel Architekturmuseum is offering a series of architectural tours of the most interesting

buildings in Basel and the immediate vicinity. This is the museum's response to recent
increasing demand for an expert view of architecture conveyed on tours of the locality. Basel
πis a major centre of architecture of the 20th Century and
possesses an abundance of outstanding buildings dating from
both the classical Modern period and the immediate past.
The Basel architectural tours are intended for the interested
layman and for experts from all architectural fields.
Individual tours can also be arranged by request.

All the tours will be led by competent experts and can be

booked in at the Basel Architekturmuseum after a written
application for 5 to a maximum of 20 people. The tours last for at least four hours and are
conducted on foot or by tram and bus whatever the weather. They also provide information
about the history of the city and other buildings on the route. The tours are conducted in
German, French, Italian or English. The fee for the tour is CHF 550 per group.
