A study on Quangbinh fishmeal as feed for broilers

SUMMARY
To evaluate the potential value of Quangbinh fishmeal as feed for broilers, a study was undertaken.
It was shown that Quangbinh fishmeal was high in crude protein (61.9%) and metabolizable energy
(2.930 Kcal/kg). It was rich in the essential amino acids required for broiler maintenance and growth,
especially lysine, methionine and tryptophan with correspondening values of 5.31, 1.63 and 0.82 %. The
results of a comparative study on 3 sources of fishmeal from Camau, Malaysia and Quangbinh in Kabir
broiler diets indicated that use of Quangbinh fishmeal led to improvement of feed conversion ratio (FCR)
by 4.56%, production number (PN) of 159 and Economic Number (EN) of 43.45.

2.1 Phn tch thnh phn ho hc ca bt
