Karen regularly presents at Seminars and


Conferences on a range of topics relating to
the application of Applied Behaviour Analysis
to children with an ASD. She has contributed
to the writing of a pioneering book entitled
Crafting Connections: Contemporary Applied
Behaviour Analysis for Enriching the Social
Lives of Persons with Autism Spectrum
Disorder.
Karen has co-developed two unique
educational programs within mainstream
settings; the IDEA Program (a school based
program) and Little Learners Autism Program
(an early intervention program within a
Childcare Centre) which currently run in
Victoria.

Booking Conditions
Applications for this program will not be accepted once all vacancies are filled. In this event, monies
will be refunded in full. Cancellation prior to fourteen days before the program date (cut off date)
will incur a 10% service charge per applicant. The program will be payable in full for cancellations
made after the cut off date or failure to attend the program. Cancellations should be in writing
and can be faxed or emailed before the said cut off period. If there are insufficient numbers for an
advertised program or unforeseen circumstances mean the program cannot go ahead, applicants
will be notified and all registration monies will be refunded. The PD People will not accept liability
of additional payment for any costs associated with the cancellation of a program. The PD People
also reserve the right to vary an advertised program prior to commencement and, where possible,
will notify applicants of changes pending.
