BRIEF 4 Black & White

Brief
A print based investigation of surface pattern design with a focus on promoting a range of products through retail design. I am going to create a series of black and white patterns that could be applied to a range of homeware products that will be sold in John Lewis. Because it will allow me to explore surface pattern design, packaging and an understanding of the retail environment.

Background / Considerations
As this brief is one the most significant one in terms of the body of work I need to ensure that I get all of the research done as soon as possible. Also need to look into how patterns and designs are printed onto ceramics as this is something that I will be looking into doing.

Mandatory Requirements
- Pattern must be black and white - Printed ceramics / homeware
