Precepts
Uninformed good intentions can cause more harm than good. Cultural differences inform quality work and partnerships. Health is central to well-being and quality of life. Sustainability is the pillar of lasting impact and capacity building. The use of trust in community leaders is critical for gaining the support of the community. Positive impact isnt always tangible. Knowledge informs sustainable service. Our actions will be characterized by forethought. Our group will not enter country without clearly defined goals and individuals trained to meet those goals.

Shared Beliefs
The communitys opinion should inform the aid we provide. We will never judge what is in the best interest of the community by ourselves. We will never deliver aid that ends when we leave. Our service will be a catalyst for development and health improvement after we are gone. Upon leaving the community, citizens should feel we should accomplish something together, not believe we have provided something as a gift.
