Engaging students in fun, interactive games and applications gives them additional exposure to grade level skills to help them learn the letters and the sounds that they make, and sight words. Students are using their whole body to improve gross motor function while associating specific movements to match a specific skill (Zoo Phonicsaction associated with letter sound, YouTube- pretend to climb a mountain while skip counting by 10s to 100). Students have to collaborate with each other complete video projects and presentations. Students have varying roles when helping and working with peers on iOS devices and can use teamwork to solve problems together. Students are motivated to write and publish their work on a computer or iOS device.
