1.CAPTIVE POWER PLANT. 2.HEAT RECOVERY AND STEAM GENERATION PLANT. 3.CPP CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEM. GENERATION,DISTRIBUTION AND MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM.
THE GENERATION SCHEME IS OF CO- GENERATIVE TYPE. IT HAS THREE GAS TURBINE PLANT OF 8.5MW AND ONE GAS
TURBINE PLANT OF 20MW. AT A TIME TWO GT TURBINE PLANT ONE OF 8.5MW AND 20MWGT TURBINE PLANT IS IN OPERATION. THE PRODUCTION OF THE PLANT IS OF 11KV,WHICH IS STEP DOWN TO 6.6KV,3.3KV AND 415V. TOTAL POWER GENERATION AT PEAK LOAD IS 14.56KW. IT HAS TWO DIESEL POWER PLANT ONE OF 320KVA AND 500KVA FOR PROVIDING POWER TO THE STARTING MOTOR DURING EMERGENCY. THE EXHAUST OF THE GAS TURBINE IS USED TO GENERATE STEAM FROM FOR REST OF THE REFINERY USE MAINLY FOR SDU AND WHFU PLANTS. IT IS A DUAL FUEL SYSTEM THE GT RUNS ON MAINLY ON NATURAL GAS AND HIGH SPEED DIESEL IS IN EMERGENCY CONDITION.
