SUBJECT: DMNA Form TAG 9s and TBTAs

1. In order to be more responsive to our field units, the NYG implement by memorandum dated 25
November 2002 a direct requisitioning authorization for DMNA Form TAG9s and Triborough Bridge and
Tunnel Authority coupons (TBTAs), in accordance with DMNA Regulation 55-1.

2. To accomplish this, each MACOM needed to determine to what level they would authorize MSCs to
requisition these controlled items. Commanders at each level remain responsible for program execution,
and the individual authorized to requisition and receive the documents should be well versed in the
procedures and policies of DMNA Regulation 55-1. It is strongly recommended that the designated
individual is also the individual responsible to issue them to unit members, and maintain accountability
logs IAW the DMNA Regulation 55-1.

3. Based on the MACOM Commander's decision, a "signature card" DA Form 1687, Notice of
Delegation of Authority - Receipt for Supplies, will be completed at each organizational level so
authorized, the designated individual(s) must sig n and initial the form, and the MACOM/MSC
Commander sign authorizing the signatures. The completed DA 1687s will be forwarded through
Headquarters NYG to DMNA Publications Section.

4. Upon execution of the DA Form 1687, and transmittal to the DMNA Publications Section, the
designated individual at each unit level may request DMNA Form TAG9s and TBTAs directly from the
DMNA Publications Section using DMNA Form 1 and the procedures as detailed in DMNA Regulation
55-1. These items will no longer be available from the full-time NYG office and it is the unit's
responsibility to maintain adequate supplies and accountability.
