MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT 3.1 3.2 Approved concrete design & trial mix for protection screed. Approved Polyethylene sheets in the waterproofing system.

4.0

EXECUTION 4.1 4.2 4.3 Inspection of completed layers of water proofing should be carried out if no damage or any unsatisfactory workmanship. Install the approved gauge 1000 of polyethylene sheets as per method statement of waterproofing manufacture/suppliers. Proceed with concreting protection screed at the required thickness of 50 mm., only after unsatisfactory condition have been rectified.

PREPARATION 5.1 5.2 5.3 5.4 5.5 5.6 Clean and prepare the water proofing surface according to Manufacturer/ Supplier. Remove all dirts or deleterious materials and other pouring materials which can damage the water proofing membrane during concrete pouring. Establish the reference 1.0 M elevation from SSL and high level elevation of Concrete Protection Screed as per approved shop drawing and Specification. Install approved polyethylene sheet on the top of water Proofing membrane as per Manufacture/ Suppliers method statement. Install the forms along the construction joints of the protection screed. Get the approval from the Engineers for application or placing of concrete.

Determine the weather condition if hot condition, sand storm condition, rainy condition or sunny condition, before placing the Order of Concrete to Ready Mix supplier. Sprinkle clean water on the top of polyethylene sheet for bonding of concrete. When the Ready Mix Concrete arrived inform to the Engineers and applies the QCTesting of Concrete standard like slump test, temperature and volume at concrete check point. Place the Ready mix concrete by Concrete Mobile Pumps or direct pouring with chute and fallow the basic method statement for placing of concrete using Concrete Mobile Pump or direct pouring. When the Ready mix concrete placed on the area, level the concrete according to approved level of screed. Finish as per required surface finish the screed according to Specification or approval by Engineers. When the initial set of concrete occurs, apply immediately an approved curing compound or water curing.
