Rotors & Keyboarding


Typing with VoiceOver enabled and the on-screen keyboard, the default is a double-tap on each letter Using the Rotor feature of VoiceOver, touch typing can be enabled (let go of the desired letter) 2 fingers in a rotating motion (e.g. ones thumb and forefinger opening a bottle top)

Not all WiFi printers are compatible with iPad! As of March 2012, Apples list of 132 AirPrint compatible printers (see link on this webpage):

Also, search the App store or via iTunes for iPrint apps

BRAILLE DISPLAYS
iOS 5.1 (released March 7, 2012) is supposed to work with all current braille displays via Bluetooth
Brailliant (by Humanware) Focus 40 Blue (by Freedom Scientific) etc.

VIDEO CHATTING
FaceTime Built-in, ergo it has been tested to work with VoiceOver by Apple Limitation: can only connect to those with mobile Apple devices
Not Android phone users, etc. Nor computer users, especially PC (Windows) machines

Skype From postings on AppleVis, previous versions of Skype were more accessible than more recent updates Skype eventually seems to play catch-up in making their app more accessible
