He is interested in innovative architecture criven by crethity and lateral thinking His approach is collaborative -using local context, history, people and the process of architecture to produce distncive outcomes, Since 2001 Brendan has taught in undergraduate courses at RMIT, Universi of Melbourne and Swinburne University of Technology. At RMIT he has developed and conducted a series of architectural design studios dover the past 6 years. Hes Coauthor of Rebirth of 2a clinic design workbook for echtecture in general practice and primary care, lan Wats lan has over 20 years experience in primary health care, incuging over 7 years wit the RACGP. In this role an directed the re-development ofthe RACGP standards for general practice dics; undertook major projatson patent safety and the safety ofhealh teams in their work-setings; ‘managed projects on business continuity in primary cate; iniatves in improving health equi, especial for Aboriginal and Tores Strait [slander ‘people, peopein immigration detention and in ‘Australian prisons.
