Dear Guardian(s), I want to welcome you and your child to an exciting year to our third grade English class!

My name is Ms. Garth and I will be your childs teacher for the 2013-2014 school year. So far, we are off to great start, getting to know the entire class and setting up for a positive classroom environment! I am looking forward to meeting your childs educational needs and helping him/her become a life-long learner! I am also looking forward to getting to know you better and becoming a team on your childs academic journey! As a class, we have covered the classroom rules and procedures. We have also discussed the discipline plan, including positive and negative consequences. I have enclosed the documents that explain our classroom rules, procedures, consequences. Please read and review the information. Please return the cut-out portion on the last page with your signature and date with your child by Friday August 23, 2013, thank you. You may also find the documents on the classroom website. There, you may find a more detailed introduction of myself and information about the class.
