Creation of Custom Responsibility for the Payables Module

Purpose This document is to outline the custom responsibilities created to restrict users from accessing all the functionalities of the Payables modules. This was a requirement from the point of view of control and management of the set ups and configuration and day to day transactions.

Requirement:Requiring creating of custom responsibilities include - Separate responsibility for Input of Invoices. Users entering invoices should not have access to Validating the invoice

Step1) Make a custom Menu Responsibility System Administrator (N) Application >Menu

Click Save.

Step2) Create Custom Responsibility for Entering Invoice (N) Security : Responsibility > Define

Click on Save

Step3) Create a User For Custom Responsibility for Entering Invoice Responsibility System Administrator (N) Security : User > Define

Click on Save

Result

Note:- At the invoice level the Validate function is disabled.
