Tuy nhin bn vn c th t luyn nu c nn tng tt v ng php v t vng. i vi Task 1 (vit bi miu t graph), bn c th tp vit phn introduction trc, la chn nhng bi graph n gin trc ri dn dn vit n nhng graph phc tp hn, cng ng b qun dng process, di agram nh. Task 1 requires you to write at least 150 words to respond to a particular graph. There are five types of graph: Line graph, Bar chart, Pie chart, Table and Process (Diagram). You should spend no more than 20 minutes on this task.

When you do the Writing Task 1, you should follow these steps: Step 1: Read and understand the task in 2 minutes. Step 2: Plan what you are going to write within 5 minutes. You should make notes in this step. Step 3: Write your anser on the Answer Sheet within 12-13 minutes. Step 4: Check your writing .only if you have time left In fact, most of you do not have enough time to do this step. However, if you do, only check grammar and vocabulary.

Most of students have trouble with writing the introduction. Here are some phrases you can use to write your introduction: The graph/table illustrates/reveals/represents/indicates ...

You should include your overview of the graph in the introduction too. Some students may write the overview of the information in the conclusion. I'm afraid that you do not have enough time to write your conclusion, so why don't you put it in the introduction? Following are some phrases to start your overview sentence:

As is shown by the graph,...

Note that you should not use personal pronouns in your writing task 1 and avoid using the phrase: 'according to the graph.

Mnh d thi Ielts vo ngy 25/8/2012 v rt may mn t c ng target 7.5 overall (Listening 8.0, Reading 8.5, Writing 7.0, Speaking 6.5). Qua note ny, mnh mun chia s i cht kinh nghim trong qu trnh n luyn Ielts n tt c cc bn s t v c bit l cc bn hc vin ca anh thy Hi Anh.

- Sau khi nm vng c v pht m, trng m, quy tc nhn mnh trong cu ca ngi Anh, cc bn bt u lm quen vi vic nghe cc on hi thoi hng ngy (qua phim nh) v cc bn tin. Mnh bt u vi "Words and

V cc dng bi Listening, c my dng mnh mun lu :

+ i vi dng Multichoice: phi c lt cu hi v cc options, va c va highlight key words. Khi nghe phi ht sc tp trung bi ngi ni s cp n tt c cc options nhng thay i v bc b thng tin rt nhanh. + i vi dng Matching (choose answer from the box v dng Must, Can, Must not): kinh nghim ca mnh l phi take note (2-4 t thi) v dng ny rt nhiu traps cng nh lng thng tin ni ra rt ln, s dng nhiu synonyms. + i vi dng Fill the gap (in t): c bit ch n t c "s" hoc "ed" hay khng. 2. Reading: y l k nng mnh yn tm nht v mnh l dn khi D v qu quen vi c hiu t hi hc cp 3 ri. Nhng anh thy Hi Anh chia s cho mnh mt phng php mi v mnh t c hiu qu r rt. l trc khi lm bi c, mnh lt qua phn cu hi bit mnh s phi vt qua th thch no, tip dnh t 7'-10' c tht k bi c, c k tng t, ng lt qua on no c. Trong qu trnh c, mnh gch chn nhng t key words v vit tm tt li chnh ca tng on vn trong khong 3-5 t (c th vit bng Ting Vit nu b t qu). Mnh thy cch ny rt thch hp cho cc dng bi Headings v matching info tng on vn c nh th t A, B, C. Nu bi c c tn ring ca nhiu ngi th phi khoanh trn v sau tm li thng tin cho d. Sau khi c k on vn, mnh dnh 10' cn li tr li cu hi.

Vi phng php lm bi trn, mnh tit kim c rt nhiu thi gian trong vic tm kim thng tin khi tr li cu hi. Thm na l mnh thng c thi quen in cu tr li vo answer sheet lun ch ko in p n ra ri cui cng mi transfer. 3. Writing: mnh n writing kh nhn v trong qu trnh hc mnh "c" anh Hi Anh cho rt nhiu bi tp luyn ri. Bi ging trn lp ca anh thy rt ngn gn v d hiu, sau mi bui hc mnh ch mt khong 10' c li ri p dng ngay kin thc vo bi tp.

Trc khi theo hc anh Hi Anh, mnh cng nm c mt s kin thc v writing nhng kin thc khng c h thng nn l thuyt v thc hnh ht sc ri rc. - Task 1: c tht k bi v dnh 3'-5' phn tch th, biu ... Khi lm bi vit, cn phi a dng cu trc cu. Mnh t t ra tiu chun cho mnh l trong bi task 1 phi c complex sentence, c Verb + adv, adj + Noun, there was/were, so snh hn, so snh hn nht ...

- Task 2: ln u tin gp anh Hi Anh trong bui offline sinh nht, mnh rt n tng bi anh thy bo l mun c ideas hc tt writing v speaking th phi chm ch c bo v ti liu Ting Vit. Khi lm bi tp cng phi nghim khc vi bn thn, bm gi hn hoi, khng dng t in hay type trn my tnh g c, hy vit tay v cn dng cho chnh xc c lng c s t mnh vit, v sau mt thi gian ngi m. Mnh p dng trit cch hc ny v khi i thi tht mnh vit c gn kn 2 mt ca task 2 v vn tha gn 7' ngi check bi.

Phng php hc n task 2 ca mnh nh sau:

+ u tin mnh vit dn v mt s template ca 3 dng bi chnh trong task 2 Ielts gm Argumentative, Discussion v Account essay (dng ny li c my loi nh sau: causes & effects, advantages & disadvantages, effects & solutions ....) ra mt quyn s tay ri hc thuc n khi lm bi tp mnh khng b mt nhiu thi gian cho dn m tp trung vo ideas thi.

+ Trong qu trnh luyn Ielts, mnh lit k ra khong mi ch ln rt hay gp nh: Crime, Environ ment, Mass Media, Anti-social habits, Entertainment, Education ... Vi mi ch ln mnh li lit k mt s ch con v c km ch thch bi, v d nh: Environment c cc ch con nh pollutions, climate changes, habitat loss ... Mnh lm mt b vocabulary cho mi ch , ng thi thm mt s expressions, facts, examples hoc s liu thng k cn thit lm phong ph bi vit hn.

Cui cng, v mng writing, mnh mun gii thiu n cc bn quyn High-scoring Ielts writing Model Answers

(based on past papers). Quyn ny c samples c task 1 v 2, v cng bao gm nhng ch ln cho task 2 nh
mnh cp trn v dng bi cho task 1 (line graphs, bar charts, pie charts, diagrams ...) , mi ch li c 4 thi tht v bi mu km ch thch v t vng, mu cu hay. Thi gian n thi ca mnh hi gp v mnh u t nhiu thi gian y im Listening v Reading tht cao nn mnh ch c ng 4 ngy c quyn ny. PHN I - CHUN B KIN THC V K NNG

Mnh quan nim mun hc tt ngoi ng l phi tt c cc k nng pht trin ng u. Do , mi khi lm bt c mt hot ng g lin quan n ting Anh (c bo, c sch, nghe a...) mnh u kt hp lit ra nhng t mi, tra t in Oxford - ghi ra ngha t v cc cm (collocations) km theo, v c to cc t mi da vo bng nguyn m...Mnh lun mang theo 1 quyn s nh bn mnh mi ni, mi lc, ghi ra nhng t/cm tm c - ghi mt cch ngu nghin v s "nu khng ghi n tri mt." Khng nn ch vit xong ri , nh vy s kh tin b. Mnh lun lm theo cch ny, c lc cm thy mnh c gng dn ht tm huyt vo bi ri m khi i chiu li bi ca ngi khc m vn t hi "Sao mnh vit d vy tri?".
