ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

ARTWORK

Zdravko Gagovi, painter-conservator (Sarajevo, 1948). Fine Arts is a graduate of the Teaching Academy in Niksi. He specialized in the conservation and restoration of easel and mural painting at the Istituto Centrale del Restauro in Rome. In 1971. he worked in the Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments in Cetinje. Participated, do projects or directed conservation and restoration works on almost all fresco-decorations, iconostasis and numerous icons and canvass around Montenegro. He participated to several Yugoslav and international professional symposia. He worked on TV series "The Golden Age of Montenegrin iconostasis." He has received numerous awards in the field of cultural heritage protection: the Charter of the Union of the conservator of Yugoslavia - Belgrade 1975th god; Plaques with a degree Federation of Associations of conservationists Yugoslavia Ohrid in 1985. year; awards Milorad Medi - Association conservators, restorers and art lovers Reantika-Belgrade 2005th and the other. He is a member of ULUCG in 1982. year. He has participated in numerous solo and joint izlobamau home and abroad. He received the award for the painting "Lubarda Milunovic Stijovi" for 2003. He won the second prize at the First International Biennial of small icons - Sveti Stefan 2003rd
