    The Meewasin Valley Authority in Saskatoon is dedicated to conserving the natural and cultural heritage resources of the South Saskatchewan River. In recent years, this organization has been leading a major urban renewal of the citys river front area. A new Meewasin Valley Centre is at the heart of this revitalization. The new Centre will be a model of sustainability, a community hub for the river valleys many attractions, and a celebration of the cultural and natural heritage of the region. APA developed interpretive concepts with an eye to engaging poets, sculptors, painters and other members of the local arts community, and featuring their work in the galleries.
