In April, Ate Daisy and Floricel (a sophomore

student of the ESSU1) attended the Phil. Navigators’
National Summer Youth Conference in Bataan.
Many students would like to join but budget
required was very high due to the far distance. We
thank God for those who gave financial assistance
so that this 2 youths from E. Samar could join the
activity!

In July, Ate Sharon’s house in Borongan became

the boarding house of 4 ESSU students from
Maydolong. Ate Daisy started meeting them once a
week and began a Bible study with them. We thank
God for the student’s willingness and interest to
know more about Him and His Word!

In August, Ate Daisy left for Thailand to volunteer

as a teacher. She left her responsibilities to
Jenelith and Alma. Jenelith now leads the students’
