Proposal for CNLU CRIMINAL LAW SOCIETY

Criminal Law has always been one of the most enticing and interesting aspects of legal education. Not only does it form an integral part of the educational curriculum, but the relation between crime and law forms the backbone of any legal structure. Students of law have always been inclined and fascinated by this aspect, and to cater, propagate, and enhance this learning attitude of the Students of our college towards criminal law We intend to form a CRIMINAL LAW SOCIETY in our college. The main aims of this society would be To organize special lectures by faculty members and guest speakers on important issues and interesting developments in the domain of criminal law. To hold discussions groups and presentations by students on any topic related to criminal law. And most importantly aid the task of creating an atmosphere of learning and cater inclination towards criminal law in the students of the college right from the scratch.

The society would meet once in a week to address these objectives. The lectures and presentations arranged by the society shall be open to all students and every student is more than welcome to come forward and provide valuable inputs to the society. We have come up with this endeavour to help ourselves and all others enrich, contribute and learn simultaneously the interesting aspects regarding criminal law. And hope that this gets the support and effective participation from one and all.
