PROJECT 1 NBCC recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Central Public Works Department (CPWD), wherein they will be allowed to develop a 2-crore sqft of land at Ghitorni. Around 20 per cent of this land will be used for commercial purposes, while 70 per cent will be residential. The rest will be used for developing other facilities. While a majority of the flats will be reserved for government employees, about 20% will be open to general public. The construction cost of the project would be around 15,000 crore. The built-up area for the project will be 50 to 60 lakh sqft and over 100 towers will be constructed in the area. The complex would include flats ranging from one to five bedrooms. For better connectivity, NBCC said they would look at constructing an underpass connecting the complex with Mehrauli-Badarpur Road. While the land belongs to CPWD, the planning, designing and sale of the property would be done by them.

PROJECT 2 NBCC is also planning another residential-cum-commercial project of 2,000 units in Ghitorni on a plot it owns. 42 acres plot
