Things to think about when working with small groups: Is the iPad stationed in a location that you can monitor? Have I provided clear guidelines on iPad use in a group? Do I need to use Guided Access? Will everyone get an equal chance to use in small groups (will everyone in class have a turn)?

Engagement: 2. 1:1 tutoring

Do the students need to use the iPad to take pictures/video? If so, what are guidelines on this? How long will it take to create the product? How will you share the created product?

Things to think about when using the iPad for connecting to home: Are you keeping the students safe by not using full names? (just first names) Are any students involved in pictures that are not allowed per parent request? Use this as a great promotion tool with your parents (and grandparents, etc.) This is a great way to create time for students and parents to use technology together

Assessment
Go to Socrative Student App or socrative.com (student login) Join room wilsonc108 Please take the assessment (3 questions)

Challenge: Can you use something from this PD session in the next few weeks?
Often we leave PD with a great idea or tool, but do not always use it. Please find a way to use this in the next few weeks (since it is fresh in your brain). I would LOVE to see or at least hear about how your use of the iPad worked!! So please share with me
