KEEP 1. Day camp for preparation rather than residential camp. Students and teachers are able to rest better, are more productive as well. Students were also able to get logistics after leaving school. 2. Dry run of activities during preparation camp. 3. Students to be assigned for action planning during dry runs so they minute how the dry run was conducted, the roles of students involved, logistics necessary etc. 1. Logistics IC IMPROVE 1. Action planning process to be student driven rather than teacher driven (students to take greater ownership of action planning) START 1. Suggestion from student leaders for orientation preparation camp to be conducted in November to be followed by 2 day dry run in December before start of school. 2. Consider involving non-student leaders as orientation facilitators 3. Single timekeeper to be designated for entire orientation STOP 1. Facilitation workshop does not appear to have had a significant impact on student leaders ability to facilitate. It was more of an awareness-raising session. Student leaders learned more on the job than during the workshop.

Activities

1. Water activities were popular with students and facilitated bonding between Sec 1s 2. CDS Formation was challenging to implement but gave Sec 1s a sense of achievement and unity in creating a shared product. Similar shared products to be considered for future orientations?

1. One student to be designated safety IC (SJAB first aider) student did an excellent job of monitoring unwell Sec 1s and
